  • Just ten days out from the election day, join us in the newsroom and online to hear from the polling guru, Professor Sir John Curtice, Chief Research Officer of FocalData, James Kanagasooriam, Founder at Number Cruncher Analytics, Matt Singh and Tortoise’s Political Editor Cat Neilan.
Between them, they have covered countless elections since the 1970s, and are currently preparing to crunch the election night numbers once again on 4th July. At this critical moment, we’ll dive into what the polls are currently telling us: Who’s ahead, where to watch, and what could it all mean for both politicians and the electorate once the ballots are cast?
Be part of the conversation and see more of our unmissable ThinkIns at torto.se/3c5i5vm

I thought Attlee in 1945 had a large number of new MPs which could have caused him problems but he got round it by making sure he gave them something to do even if not official positions

There's loads of things need doing like setting up a group to look into manufacture and deployment of modular homes, there's some really good builders on youtube they could tap into with years of experience
Civics in schools given there lowering the voting age
One of the things I'd like set up is an Open system developed for the Healthcare system, using open source rather than the endless bespoke systems that don't talk to each other and are bug ridden
